Size Guide & Fit Advice

At Ceynon Apparel, we understand that a professional look starts with the perfect fit. Please use the following guide to ensure your team selects the right sizes for their uniforms.

1. How to Measure Correctly

For the best results, use a flexible measuring tape and wear thin undergarments. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape horizontal under the arms and across the shoulder blades.

  • Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest part of your torso), keeping the tape comfortably loose.

  • Hips: Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat.

  • Inside Leg: Measure from the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to the desired hem length.

2. Size Conversion Chart (Standard Industry Fit)

Size Chest (inches) Waist (inches)
XS 34 – 36 28 – 30
S 36 – 38 30 – 32
M 38 – 40 32 – 34
L 40 – 42 34 – 36
XL 42 – 44 36 – 38
2XL 44 – 46 38 – 40
3XL 46 – 48 40 – 42

Note: These measurements are based on industry standards. Fit may vary slightly depending on the style (e.g., Slim Fit vs. Regular Fit).

3. Pro-Tips for Corporate Orders

  • The “Sample Kit” Service: We highly recommend requesting a Sample Fit Kit before placing your bulk order. This allows your team members to try on actual garments to confirm their preferred size.

  • Measure an Existing Garment: If you are unsure of your body measurements, take your best-fitting shirt or pair of trousers, lay it flat on a table, and measure across the chest or waist. Compare these flat measurements to our provided size specs.

  • When in Doubt, Size Up: For workwear and active uniforms that require movement, we generally advise choosing the larger size if you fall between two sizes.
